Very ethereal experience. It might make sense though to include a high score system, though I don't know if that would take away from the overall experience or not.
I think you have something cool in the works. Keep working on it even though the game jam is done.
Really good for being done in 52 hours. I do wish your magic meter restored faster, but I have no real complaints besides a few nitpicks. Several years ago I tried to make a homebrew NES game with similar gameplay to this, and this is how an action RPG should be done.
I've played with the mana regen rates, maybe grab a friend and give it another go. I'd love to hear whatever nitpicks you have. Never give up on developing!
The character animations in this are amazing. They're probably some of the smoothest I've seen in a flash game. That said, I thought the difficulty spiked too quickly and the game got a bit repetitive very quickly. Definitely a nice effort though, and the presentation kept it interesting.
